Building a safe and secure embedded world

Performance Optimisation of Safety-Critical Multi-Core Applications on the Infineon AURIX™ Microcontroller - 2nd May 2018

Thanks to the rapid development in the area of highly automated driving and autonomous vehicles, new technologies are finding their way into the vehicles of today and tomorrow. Old hardware architectures are under scrutiny, with central domain controllers necessary to process the large amount of information and convert it into appropriate actions as quickly and safely as possible.

In the same way, much of the technology is also finding its way into industrial applications where performance and safety are key requirements.

Focusing on Infineon's AURIX™ architecture, this workshop will provide insights and solutions to make multi-core systems functionally secure, while retaining the ability to be high performance. It will report on trends in the industry and provide practical assistance in the development of such systems.

If you are dealing with the following questions in the field of embedded software in automotive or industrial development, then this workshop offers the right agenda for you:

  • How do I efficiently use current multi-core architectures?
  • Which architectures for acceleration are being used or investigated?
  • How do I measure and increase the performance of an application on the hardware?
  • In addition to all performance requirements, how do I guarantee the functional safety of the system?
