We are delighted to have more speakers from ARM than ever. The opening keynote for the free-to-attend Hitex ARM Conference will be delivered by Tony Smith, General Product Manager. Tony will be delivering an update on the changes within ARM in the last 12 months, and how that has affected the development of ARM microcontrollers in terms of software and system trends and technologies.
Our second keynote will be from Joseph Yiu, a senior Cortex-M specialist for ARM. Joseph will be introducing new software security concepts for ARMv7 and the new ARMv8 based microcontrollers. The soon-to-be-released CMSIS-Zone standard will also provide support for upcoming multi core microcontrollers.
Our final keynote of the morning will be from Niall Cooling, the CEO of Feabhas. His presentation will cover Measuring Software Quality and shall describe a quality framework, addressing the tools and techniques available to measure and enforce the different aspects of software quality.
Elan Tanzer, Senior Product Manager completes the ARM line-up, and will be presenting the ARM Developer Studio 5 toolchain with support for heterogeneous multicore systems.
Throughout the remainder of the day, the presentations will be a mix of the latest innovative developments from key Silicon vendors and leading software providers and will also cover the latest hardware developments and practical software techniques. The presentations will be technology-based as opposed to road maps or sales pitches. This is to ensure that every delegate will leave having gained real knowledge and value from the day.
This agenda is now live on www.hitexarmconference.co.uk with regular updates being added on an almost daily basis.
Additionally, Hitex also runs 2 days of highly-regarded training in the build-up to the event which enables delegates to spend up to 3 days immersed in productive technical and educational environments.
With course spaces filling up fast, we advise booking sooner rather than later. Combining the courses with the conference really does give excellent value on your investment in terms of both time and knowledge.
The Hitex ARM Conference was launched in 2000 as a fairly small, focussed one-day event and has grown into a well-respected and highly anticipated annual fixture on the engineering event calendar.
